60 Years of United Nations in Sri Lanka Dialogue

The Department of International Relations organized a “60 Years of United Nations in Sri Lanka Dialogue” was held on December 14, 2015 to celebrate the membership of Sri Lanka in the United Nations. Sri Lanka joined the United Nations on December 14, 1955.

Panel presentations on United Nations Peacekeeping, UNICEF and Millennium Development Goals were carried out by the undergraduates reading for Special Degree in International Relations in the second, third, and fourth years.  Alain Sibenaler of the UNFPA and Dean, Faculty of Arts graced the occasion.
