501st Meeting of the Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Directors (CVCD)
The 501st Meeting of the Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Directors (CVCD) was held on 5th September 2026 at College House. The meeting was hosted by the University of Colombo and brought together 18 Vice-Chancellors representing state universities across Sri Lanka.
The meeting provided a platform for the Vice-Chancellors and Directors of state universities to come together to discuss matters of common interest concerning the higher education sector, strengthen collaboration among universities, and exchange views on issues relevant to the advancement of university education and academic development in Sri Lanka.
