ABOUT US
The Career Guidance Unit of the University of Colombo was created in November 1997, through the initiative of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Sri Lanka. The unit functions directly under the Vice Chancellor. We are located in the upper floor of the two storey building between the University Main Library and the New Arts Building. Our equipment inventory currently includes several multimedia computers, OHP projectors, a multimedia projector, scanners, printers, photocopier and a TV. Our library hosts informational booklets, CDs, books and other reading materials related to soft skill development of our students. The students are provided ample reading space for making use of these facilities.
OUR VISION
Providing and training for University of Colombo undergraduates to embark on an optimal career and develop the necessary transferable skills including attitude, motivation and skills necessary to become efficient members of the workforce.
