Canteen and cleaning staff awareness sessions 2025/26

The Centre for Environmental Initiatives (CEI) continuously conducts awareness sessions for university canteen operators and cleaning staff, with a strong focus on reducing the use of polythene and single-use plastics within the university premises on December 31, 2025. These sessions emphasise practical alternatives, proper waste segregation, and environmentally responsible daily practices, while highlighting the environmental and health impacts of plastic pollution. Through regular engagement, CEI aims to foster long-term behavioural change among key service providers, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable university environment.
