Alumni Unity Group Grants Scholarships to Underprivileged Students
The Alumni Unity Group of the University of Colombo demonstrated their unwavering support for underprivileged students by donating Rs. 10,000.00 to each of the forty-two selected students from various faculties in the university. The event took place on May 25th, 2023, at the College House Auditorium, where these deserving students were honored with this scholarship. Senior Professor H.D. Karunaratne, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Mr K.A.S. Edward, the Registrar, the Senior Student Counsellor, and the Assistant Registrar of the Student & Staff Affairs Branch participated in this occasion, along with the Vice President and staff members of the Alumni Unity.
