Adyapana Prathibha 15th Edition Launched by Faculty of Education
The launching ceremony of Adyapana Prathibha 15th Edition, organised by the 2020 B.Ed final-year undergraduates of the Faculty of Education, was held on the 2nd July 2025 with the presence of distinguished guests. Adyapana Prathibha is an education-focused trilingual magazine featuring diverse perspectives on contemporary and future education. It serves as a platform for student teachers to express academic, reflective, and creative ideas, fostering critical thinking and educational innovation. This event began with an address by Dean Dr Kapila Bandara, who commended the students’ academic commitment and highlighted the role of such platforms in enriching educational dialogue.
Vice Chancellor Senior Professor Indika Mahesh Karunathilake, attending as Chief Guest, appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to lead with knowledge and innovation. This memorable presence marked his first official visit to the Faculty of Education. The Chief Editor, Senior Lecturer Mrs Udeshini Perera, reflected on the editorial journey, thanking all contributors and supporters.
The official magazine handover was then conducted, with the e-launch by the Vice Chancellor and the printed copy presented to him. A symbolic plant token ceremony followed, representing gratitude and the lasting bond between the batch and the faculty.
