The 10^th International Conference on Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Traditional Medicine (iCAUST 2024)

The 10^th International Conference on Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Traditional Medicine (iCAUST 2024) was inaugurated on 9^th August 2024 at Galle Town Hall, Sri Lanka. This prestigious event was organized by the Faculty of Indigenous Medicine in collaboration with the Department of Ayurveda, Ministry of Health, Southern Province, Sri Lanka.
The ceremony began with a grand traditional welcome by dancers, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the oil lamp. Dr H P Karunawathi, Commissioner of the Department of Ayurveda, Southern Province, delivered the welcome address, setting a profound tone for the conference.
Distinguished guests, including the Secretary of Health for the Southern Province and Senior Professor (Chair) H D Karunaratne, Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo, delivered speeches highlighting the importance of traditional medicine in modern healthcare. The event also featured four keynote addresses by eminent scholars from India, the UK, and Bangladesh.
