Prof. Ajantha Hapuarachchi at an International Seminar in India
Professor Ajantha Hapuarachchi presented a paper at the International Seminar on “BRICS and a New Information Structure” on 05th January, 2015. This international seminar was organized by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies (MAKAIAS), under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The seminar was held in Kolkata, India.
Field Trip - 2012
Journalism unit staff and the students who are following the “Feature Journalism” course unit went on a field trip to Dorawaka lena, an archeological site located close to Warakapola on the 15th February 2012. Students are requested to write a feature article on their experience and the significance of the place they visited. Another batch of students following the same course unit will leave for field trip on 23rd February to “Hakbelikanda” archeological site in Alawwa.The objective of the field trip is to give practical experience for the students to collect necessary information on a selected subject and to share others knowledge to enhance their writing.
